MACA, is  also  called  "The  Peruvian  Ginseng", is  an  ancient  perennial  plant  that  grows  under  the  rough  climate  conditions  of  the  Andes  and  is  being  used  for  years  by  the  Peruvian  inhabitants.
This  plant  belongs  to  the  Brassicaceae  plants  family, its  bottom  part  is  a  bulb  which  is  being  used  by  the  folk  medicine.
Alkaloids, saponins  and  tannins  are  the  active  ingredients  of  this  product.
